Hello, my name is Henry Vasquez. I'm the racing manager for Blue Sky Racing Stables. I'm a career firefighter in California. I been a firefighter for a total of 12 years. I remember as a child my uncle taking me to the race track to see his horse race. After 20 years, I still love the sport. The only difference is now I take my family with me to see our horse. I been a race horse fan for over 20 years, and one day after years of wishing of owning a race horse, I decided to explore racehorse ownership opportunities. Since then I have participated in several horse racing partnerships and have experienced some things that I like and some that I didn't.

The thing I dislike was the poor communication with some of the partnerships. I have gone weeks where calls and e-mails didn't get answered. This is why I keep in contact with my partners twice a week. Blue Sky Racing Stables plan is to claim horses in the $5,000–$12,500 price range with the potential of moving the horse up in class. There's nothing like getting together with your family and friends to share the thrill as your horse comes down the stretch in the lead for the win. Thoroughbred horse racing is a very exciting sport with year-round racing throughout the country. Our goal is to have stakes horses for our partners.
